map scale instead zoom level - oracle maps

Hi to all,

I'm using oracle maps, and i'd like to zoom my map to a specified scale value and not only zoom level defined in map cache.
I've tried zoom to rectangle but it seems that automatically when i am in the middle of two zoom levels, oracle maps decide by itself to zoom
to a known zoom level of the map tile layer definition, is it possible or could someone suggest me how to specify a scale with oracle maps?
Can i add dinamically a Zoom level with a specified scale?
