Many-to-One source to taget mappings

Hi Experts,
In my FDM mapping file from source to taget, I have a couple of source accounts say A & B that map to single target HFM account say C. If a use an explicit map and just map A->C and A->B, will that work fine? Alternatively if I a Logic Account and specify an expression along with an operator to add the values up is that fine? Please suggest. I am working on version 11.1.1.3.
