Many Many -> mptbase: ioc0: LogInfo(0x30030201): Originator={IOP} ...

Hi

We are getting strange errors on our Linux server.

It's a sun X4250 running Oracle enterprise Linux (5/u5)

Linux tango.cwc.local 2.6.18-194.el5xen #1 SMP Mon Mar 29 22:22:00 EDT
2010 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

The errors look like this in dmesg:

mptbase: ioc0: LogInfo(0x30030108): Originator={IOP}, Code={Invalid
Page}, SubCode(0x0108)
mptbase: ioc0: LogInfo(0x30030101): Originator={IOP}, Code={Invalid
Page}, SubCode(0x0101)
mptbase: ioc0: LogInfo(0x30030201): Originator={IOP}, Code={Invalid
Page}, SubCode(0x0201)

Connected to the x4250 array we have a 6140 and a j4200 (via an expander
card) with some scsi and sata drives. I cannot tell from the mptbase
messages which array we are having problems with, and I don't know how
to debug it.

Inside of the x4250 we have 6 internal sata (?) drives.

We only started to get these messages after I installed the common array
manager software a few weeks ago and if I turn the Common Array Manager Fault Management Service off the errors
stop coming out.

Can anyone help?

Katie
