Managing backups no FRA no catalog

Hello everyone,

I am making RMAN backups in my standby database.

I have not configured FRA nor rman catalog.

If i put a rman policy in my primary like CONFIGURE ARCHIVELOG DELETION POLICY TO APPLIED ON ALL STANDBY;

Are archive logs deleted automatically or i have to execute a rman command to delete them?
