Does anyone know of a way to have RMAN manage how long backups stay on a TSM server using TDP?

I know I can set my retention period in RMAN, but will that remove the backups for me from the TSM server? If not, is there an automated way that will do it?

I had an idea that involved using tdpo_sync, but that seems to be an interactive script, and the removal needs to be non-interactive. We have too many backups running to have this be a manual process.

Oh, also, I'm not using a recovery catalog db. Backup information is stored in the control file for each instance.

Any thoughts?
