Make READONLY item background colour using css

Dear All,
This is a special customization I need to do. My requirment is to change the background colour of the the items when those items are set to readonly mode.

So if that item is normal then no chamges and when Item put in to read only then background colour has to change.

I think this is possible through css. But when I check the existing css files in theme2 I couldnt find anything that.

Any help or guidence highly regarsds,
