It is great that we can install DBMS_CLOUD on on-prem DBs. But I am wondering (as per documentation) why we have to create a wallet to make it actually work. One of 23ai’s new features is that the DB takes advantage of the host certificates, right?
Is there a different way to make the C##CLOUD$SERVICE user use the host certificates without a wallet?
(I tested it on a 23ai free DB where I had to add a wallet in order for DBMS_CLOUD to work)
