user1093072Apr 9 2013 — edited Apr 13 2013
Hi All,

My production database have one 1152GB data file and it’s auto extending by 1 MB. As per my understanding we need to maintaining small data files(such as 32 GB ). Therefor please tell me the best way to maintain this (stop this point and create separate datafiles or just using one file) also what kind of benefits we can get segregating to different datafiles.
