mailstore on NFS netapp filer

Hi all

i am using iplanet messaging server 4.15 on solaris 7 , right now my mail store is on the sun storage edge 1000 array , but now we are planning to move it on the Netapp Filer 810 , so that my mail server will mount the fs FROM the netapp filer 810 , where it will store the mail , in the release notes of the IMS 5.2 its clearly specified that it wont support NFS mounted Mailstore , is there any one who can advise me for this ???? what should i do now ?
