Macros in Discoverer Workbooks???

ocp9iNov 3 2005 — edited Nov 10 2005
Hi All,

While working with Discoverer for Web, i use Export to Excel tool button, it opens the Excel file with all the data from current workbook but gives a warning:

C:\path\File.xls contains macros

Enable | Disable | More Info

If i click Disable then it gives a message "Can't Disable some Macros.....etc". and i need to say yes to open it.

Now my Questions:
1. What are those macros (Purpose)?
2. Who creates them?
3. Can i see those Macros (As when i tried to see them in Excel nothing shows up)?
4. When i need to enable them why it gives message to Disable/Enable?
5. Windows help says that if macros are coming from a source that is not trusted & macros are not digitally signed, we see this error. Does it mean that Macro is neither created by Oracle Application nor by Microsoft application?

Can someone please answer to these questions?

Many Thanks
