MacOS_64-bit, jdk_8_v171 :

Installing , then inspecting the Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_171.jdk/Contents/Home/jre/lib/jli/liibjl.dylib (using Command-I), produces what seems to be the correct result, but seems to leave-behind, (in addition), the older versions of the jdk .
