Hi Everyone!!!

Greetings to all.

I need your’s assistance to get clarity on some of queries regarding HBA.

Before entering to the issues, let me to introduce by myself.

My name is K.kartik working as System admin in Fidelity.


I have a T2000 series server for some testing related activity and the server is connected with 10Gig Lun and Sun Branded Emulex HBA has been installed with the server.

One of my folk, he installed Emulex Driver for Emulex Branded HBA in the server without his knowledge. Now the Lun got disappeared in the server.

so, I got into the conclusion due to the Driver mismatch installation , the issue would have happened.

So, in order to resolve the above issue, I got uninstalled the Wrongly installed Driver
And installed the appropriate driver for Sun Branded Emulex HBA.

But the issue did not get fixed, Now also, HBA & Lun is not visible the server.
But we able to see the HBA’s as part of the prtdiag/prtconf/OK show-devs.
