lsdg in asmcmd does not show +DATA01 disk group in 1 node

Hey,

this is a 2-node RAC. the database of Node 1 was not coming up; and alert log was reporting "unable to find spfile" error.

Upon connecting to asmcmd and issuing lsdg i noticed that the DATA 01 disk group is missing and only FRA was available. any reason for this ? how to overcome this ?
