LOV Based Parameters in 10g

Hello Gurus
We just migrated to reports 10G, and in the run time parameter form if any parameter is LOV based its not coming as Drop down box, instead all the values are coming outside the box. for example if parameter is selecting item number in the query, its listing all the items under the parameter, doesn't matter 1 or 1000.
Any Idea how to fix this.
