looping chain of synonyms

hi i am getting below error for any type of sql while desc this table

select count(1) from raw;
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01775: looping chain of synonyms

SQL> desc raw
SP2-0749: Cannot resolve circular path of synonym "raw"
