logical view error

can someone please help me, i am getting this error when i run this in my env. oracle 10.2.0.2
how i can resolve this issue. i ran same select to other env. and work fine.

SQL> select count(*) from DBA_LOGSTDBY_NOT_UNIQUE;
select count(*) from DBA_LOGSTDBY_NOT_UNIQUE
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-01425: escape character must be character string of length 1
