log gap issue

Hi

Using a Data Guard in Oracle 10gR2 on RHEL5

The Primary has shipped the logs to standby, but the standby not applying for few days.

The files not applied are in standby_archive_dest..

I restarted the MRP but; its not applying the logs..

Do I need to register the archive logs go for recover manually..using the automatic option;

What other option do I have?
