log file for database creation

Dear all,

I hve IBM AIX with Oracle 9i r2. whenever i create database using DBCA, it shows progress upto 41% n then it hangs. But whenever i create manually, it's successful. I want to know tht do oracle create any logfile of database creation while creating it with DBCA?
