LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1

Hi,
on 10g, I'm preparing the primary Data base (following what is saying in Oracle® Data GuardConcepts and Administration10g Release 2 (10.2)B14239-04 page 50). DB is in archive log mode.At present LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST and all LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_n parameters have no value. In init.ora for primary What should I put for LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST ? Should I put
LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST=C:\oracle\oradata\orcl\arch
where actualy logs are archived ? Should I have ABSOLUTLY
LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_1=somefolder
then which folder ?
I'm confused.
