Request

I am looking for guidance on launching a SMART on FHIR app with EHR Launch from C1941 PowerChart (Citrix) while running the app locally on a developer’s machine.

We’ve been testing the system using the Dev environment, which runs on a remote server. However, this setup requires a deployment for every small code change, which is time-consuming and inefficient during development.

To streamline testing, we’ve been exploring a ‘localhost’ launch, where C1941 PowerChart (Citrix) would launch Archer running locally on the developer’s machine. Unfortunately, we haven’t yet been successful with this approach.

My main question is: Since PowerChart runs on what appears to be a Citrix virtual machine, would it allow for a connection to the developer’s physical machine (i.e., localhost)?

Would you be able to advise whether this setup is technically feasible, or whether any configurations need to be adjusted on the Cerner/Citrix side?

We’re seeing several errors when attempting to run Archer locally from Citrix – see them below.

Thanks in advance for your help - any guidance would be much appreciated!
