Local browser - 127.0.0.1 - keeps resolving to ip address

Hi

I have been running Jdevloper using Chrome browser. No problem. Apps have been running in the browser - using the integrated Weblogic Server.

When I now run the application the browser returns a Network Error. The 127.0.0.1 is resolving to 168.185.5.103 (the address on the network).
If I paste "localhost" over the 127.0.0.1 in the browser then it all works.
I have tried switching off the proxy server and making all sorts of connection changes.

Why should this suddenly have stopped working? Nothing has been installed since I was working on it last thing yesterday.

I deleted the systems directory and restarted Jdeveloper (this seems to be a generic solution to most things)- no joy.

Any ideas would help.

I have looked in depth on the internet and in this forum and found nothing similar.
