loading java sevlet

i am using the eclipse IDE and running tomcat 6.0, i am trying to get a servlet to load but i am unable to. what i am confused in is what directory do i type in the URL to get to the servlet.

i've read atleast 5 or so sites on servlet mapping but my efforts haven't been fruitful.
