Parth PanjabiNov 8 2015 — edited Nov 11 2015

Hi All,

I am facing issue with Production Database 10g ( 10.2.0.5.0) installed on Windows Server 2003. Listener Suddenly got hung and not taking any new connection.Database Service De-register with Listener.after that immediately I am issuing following commands:-

LSNRCTL>stop

LSNRCTL>start

SQL> alter system reigster;

the above command works fine sometimes but it sometimes it is not registering database services with LISTENER , so i need to shutdown database and start it again , after that it work fine but this took around 20 minutes downtime during business hour so we are loosing our business.

Any solution or suggestion?

Thanks,

Parth
