We have several single instance database (EBS application) that need to migrated to RAC one node database. We have been using "named" listener all my life.

My question is, how can i configure listener on RAC? I know this is kind of broad but i couldn't find the answer anywhere?

I just got exposed to RAC recently and listener configuration confuses me. Grid home listener and local listener? What the heck?

Below is from running srvctl config listener

[oracle@zsc-oda0-0 AUDIT_zsc-oda0-0]$ srvctl config listener   (I'm assuming this is default listener)

Name: LISTENER

Type: Database Listener

Network: 1, Owner: oracle

Home: <CRS home>

End points: TCP:1521

Listener is enabled.

Listener is individually enabled on nodes:

Do i just change it port to 1581 like my old listener.ora (non rac) has?
