Linux printer

Hi ;

I have unix server and linux rhel4u6 run on it.. We made installation of oracle ebs r11 on the linux and now we want to define printer to linux. The problem is, there are

1.Network printer (has own IP)
2.Printer which plug pc (Pc has IP not printer)
3.Some printer is dotmatrix and some are laser

The question are:

1. when i define printer in linux i sent something but printer doesnt gives print, even i cant see my print file in print queue (printers using for windows system)
2. i can see some printer model on linux when i try to define it and sometimes i dont see my printers model on linux printer wizard. So for doesnt exist printer model what i can do?
