Linux oratab File

Dear Friends ,

We Install Oracle Database 11g 11.1.0.7 for (ERP applicatoin ) Linux version 2.6.18-194.el5

Now When I try to Install Symantech Agent for backup Purpose . The Oratab File Missing .
e
its not there On /etc or /var/opt

cd oratab >>>>>>>>>>>>>
-bash: cd: oratab: Not a directory

please advise How I can create oratab file , and it will not affect anything on my database
