Linux monitor problem

Hello sir

I want to install OEL5.4 in server which uses Compaq S1922a LCD monitor.When I started to install OEL5.4, the screen goes blank after detecting vedio driver.How can I solve the problem. I want to install in graphics mode because we use LVM harddisk configuration which can not be configured if the installation goes through linux text mode.Please help me . Thanks in advance.
