Linux installation without GUI possible?

Hi,

I would like to install OBIEE on Linux, but without using the GUI. Is this possible? If yes, I would appreciate to get some advice (since the manual is just refering to the gui-installation).
Later I would like to run the OBI server on Linux and use the Admin Tool and a Browser in Windows.
