Linux CentOS in Oracle Production environment

Dr.AntyAug 18 2015 — edited Aug 18 2015

Hello Sir,

I receive the bellow comment from oracle....

None of the Oracle DB versions and editions are certified to run on CentOS. It doesn’t mean that technically it will not work but it is not officially certified by Oracle. This means if there is an issue due to this combination of Oracle DB and Operating System, then Oracle support will not be available for this combination.

So I Can install Oracle DB production on linux  CentOS? or you have go with readhat??

Regards,

Ahmed.
