Linking to Files On Network

Hello Everyone,

I would like to setup a way for users to point to a file stored on our file and print server and present it as a link to the users. Using browse it uploads the files (for a blob) which isn't exactly what I am looking for. Using a VARCHAR2 it gives me this "F-866530806/gbd1.jpg" for instance. In short I am trying to save the path to a file instead on the file itself. Does anyone have any ideas?
