LINEST Excel function implementation in Essbase

Hi,

Just wondering if anybody has attempted to implement LINEST function in Essbase? Essentially, need to produce the "a" and "b" constants in a "y = ax + b" relation based on two sets of history data.

Any help will be highly appreciated.
