Hi, I'm running in to an issue that I think may be some sort of limit on the size of a report I can download into Excel. The specific report is a dump of 250 columns across by approx 19,000 rows. This report is a requirement for our dashboard - end users take this data into various tools like SAS to do statistical analysis. Obviously OBI EE isn't the best tool for this - but we are using a ton of the dashboard functionality - it's just this one report that's giving us issues.

The specifics:
a) If users choose to use the "download / download data" feature (to export report into .csv file) - everything works fine

b) if users choose to use the "download / download to Excel" feature - after about 30 seconds an error message pops up in IE saying the web page can't be properly displayed

c) if users choose to use the "download / download to Excel" feature - but first filter the number of rows to a small number (say 1000), everything works fine

Obviously I'm hitting some sort of limit here. I know the files created in the temp directory are approaching 100 Mb before they blow up. Does anyone know a configuration setting that could be adjusted for this? If not, is there someway to disable the options that appear under "download" so that ONLY the "download data" shows up?
