Limit on records being uploaded using data loader utility in Apex

Hi,

I have built a small app where I upload some text files. I am capturing the line text into a table using Apex data loader utility. I am coming across a strange problem where the Data Loader merely uploads 4055 out of some 4800+ records. On the Last page where we confirm (default Finish) It does not show any failed or invalid records.

Can somebody give few pointers to as what might be causing this problem?

Apex version used : 4.2
