Limit on deleting email via IMAP
807574Jul 9 2004 — edited Feb 20 2020we have IMS5.2 and wondering if any one knows if there is a limit on the number of message you can delete via imap in a single command.
I have some very large accounts which we are trying to delete (500K+ emails) messages from but if I try to delete more than say 1000+ I get an error "BAD Invalid sequence in Uid". I've tried this with multiple imap clients (thunderbird outlook express and the perl "Mail::IMAPClient;" script.
