Licensing ADF?

KonradZuseMar 21 2014 — edited Mar 28 2014

So I just heard we have to buy a license to use ADF, or else use "ADF Essentials?"

I found another topic here How much does a license ADF cost?

But there seems to be a ton of different options and I'm not sure what is what from this list.

I was really excited to find this Framework, but like I found with SIFT and SURF Keypoint Detectors in OpenCV, you don't' find out about the licenses right away.

Can anyone give me more information, such as if it's worth it to get a license, how much they normally cost(or explain where in that link I can find what I'm looking for) and if ADF Essentials is worth it to use over the full ADF?

EDIT:

Found a bit more info thanks to the Mobile ADF page   http://www.oracle.com/us/corporate/pricing/technology-price-list-070617.pdf

page 4 TopLink and Application Development Framework 120 26.40 5,800 1,276.00

The thing I'm curious about is what the differences are?  It says that a single user license is just good for 1 person to develop on?  A processor seems to be needed if we need to deploy apps and such to GooglePlay/AppStore?

There are also a ton of other options in that list, it said in the ADF Mobile FAQ about "WebLogic" also.....

So what exactly is the difference between TopLink/ADF and "WebLogic?"  Does the WebLogic have to do with the Oracle DB's?

Thank you,

~KZ
