Hi,

I have a Dell PowerEdge R710 with 2 x Intel Xeon(4 Cores) CPU. If I want to install oracle 12c (not as container database) , How many CPU license will I need ? I looked into the factor table http://www.oracle.com/us/corporate/contracts/processor-core-factor-table-070634.pdf. and it says for the Intel Xeon Series 56XX, the CPU factor is 0.5 . So will it be 8 x 0.5 = 4 CPU license ? Or do I have to buy 8 CPU license ? The same thing for weblogic server ? Do I need 4 or 8 CPU license ? Before asking oracle , I want to get some answer from you . Thanks in advance for your help.
