Lexmark
Hi Gurus,
We have a Lexmark C935 and meet problem to connect it to a Solaris 10 system which consists of server and four clients;
The server and clients are running on Solaris10 x86 and we use the server hostname as the domain name;
The Lexmark printer has two paper tray of A3 and A4, both of them will be used so we could not just use printmgr to add the printer;
We installed the print-drivers-solaris10-x86.pkg.gz downloaded from Lexmark;
We used lexprint to add the virtual device and then add the two trays as LexmarkA3 and LexmarkA4;
Both LexmarkA3 and LexmarkA4 works fine on the server;
But on the clients we used printmgr to add the two printer, and used server hostname as the printer server, when we tried to print out, the printer had no response;
If used snoop command to monitor the communication it kept looking for the printer ports.
We have done the same configuration on other customers but all work well but this time, and I checked all have exact the same config;
Can anybody turn on a light for me how to check and deal with this issue?
