Legacy hardware compatibility question

Hi All,

I have a requirement to get a Solaris 9 system up and running for legacy testing reasons. There appears to be loads of used hardware available online, but when I check the Product Notes for the used hardware it normally states that it requires Solaris 10.

Does anyone have an experience with running Solaris 9 on newer hardware platforms? Ideally I would like to use Solaris 9 on a SPARC Enterprise T5120 or a SPARC Enterprise T1000.
