LDAP AUthentication in obiee11g

Dear Experts

I need to intergrate AD (LDAP) with obiee11.1.1.6 . Can I use teh rpd to create a new LDAP and then import all the user and create an initilization block to authenticate user.

OR

I will have to do it in Weblogic console. using the link ----- http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15586_01/bi.1111/e10543/privileges.htm
