Last day of the month with the last minute of the day

Hi ,
I am wondering about how to get the last day of the month with the very last minute of that day(23:59). We can use last_day(DATE) function to get the last date ,but it brings back the same time of the day when the function was executed. But I want to have the last minute with my last date of the current month.

Please inform.
