Laptop touchpad on VM vs Live CD
868667Jun 14 2011 — edited Jun 29 2011Hello I want to install Solaris 11 Express on my Dell D630. When I use the VM image my touchpad scroll works just fine but when I use the live CD it doesnt work at all. Ive tried various fixes that Ive found on Google and none of them have worked. Is there any differences between the VM and the live CD that would cause this? Can anybody out there give me a fix that will work, maybe someone that has it running on a D630 and working? The live CD I have I downloaded a few months ago and the VM I just recently downloaded to try it out to see if anything had changed, but both versions are SNV 151a so I dont think anything has changed, but then again Im not a Solaris guru so any help would be appreciated. I love Solaris but just cant live without scrolling on the touchpad. Everything else works just fine except for the scroll. Please help.
