LAN Socket connection fine but not outside the network

807601Apr 8 2008 — edited Apr 8 2008
Hello,
I set up a server on my computer and I made a program which communicates using sockets.
When I run the program on my own computer and a computer on my LAN network everything work fine and a socket connection is established but when I try to connect to the server outside the network, the program loads but does not accept the socket connection.

The Ip on my clients on the lan computers is my internal Ip (192.168.1.103) port 8888

The Ip on my clients on the outside-lan computers is my external Ip (74.1XXXXX) port 8888

Whats wrong?

thx
