Killing Oracle Mandatory Process.

It is possible to kill Oracle Mandatory Process?

When i try to kill the DBW0 process in linux by kill 106040 1, The command executed successfully, but when i try check with process status command again i'm able to view the the DBW0 process with the same Process ID 106040.

It is possible to kill oracle mandatory Process.
