807559Jun 18 2008 — edited Jun 19 2008
Hi Guys,

I have a V890, under solaris 10 using SVM.
A non proper shutdown by the system owner crash the kernel and i have received the following errors and the system is not booting.

#warning unexpected token on line 56 of /kernel/drv/md.conf ( a lots of lines, this is a sample )

i have tryed to recover the kernel by booting ( OK boot cdrom -s )
and rebuilding it by using the following procedure.

mount /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s0 /a
# cp /kernel/drv/md.conf /a/kernel/drv/md.conf
# umount /a
# update_drv -f md

NB: i have a copy of the old Kernel.

Trying to restart i faced a mounting problem and the system crashed.

Please can someone help.

It is a critical system

Thanks in Advance
