Kernel 7.4 panic

user4874462Aug 11 2017 — edited Aug 15 2017

Hi,

We are trying to install a new fresh server using OL 7.3 ISO. After the whole instalation process completes, the system works fine ! So, we run "yum install update" download the latest updates. One of them is the new 7.4 kernel unbreakable (4.1.12-94.3.8). After the kernel updates and we restart the machine, we cannot boot the system using this kernel ! We are getting the following message:

[end kernel trace]

kernel panic - not syncing: fatal exception

kernel offset: disabled

[end kernel panic - not syncing: fatal exception

The system won't boot ! To start it, I must select another kernel option.

What can I do to fix it ?
