Kernal version confusion?

Hi,

I've installed what I thought was RedHat Linux 4 AS Update 2.

When I run uname -r it tells me I'm running 2.6.9-22.EL. I was expecting 2.6.9-22.0.2.EL, since I thought I was running update 2?

Is this normal?? Is there another way I can confirm whether the Linux version is Update 2?
