kdump on Unbreakable Kernel

821545Dec 6 2010 — edited Dec 6 2010
Any tricks to get kdump running on the Unbreakable Kernel?

grub config:

title Enterprise Linux Enterprise Linux Server (2.6.32-100.21.1.el5)
root (hd0,0)
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32-100.21.1.el5 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb quiet crashkernel=128M@16M
initrd /initrd-2.6.32-100.21.1.el5.img

/var/log/messages:

kdump: No crashkernel parameter specified for running kernel
kdump: failed to start up

It was OK before switching from the base kernel.
