JTOpen benchmark

Does anyone have benchmark or reference for using jtopen connecting to AS/400?
I have to researching connection performance between using jtopen and AS/400 comparing with commercial middleware. I cannot find any document talking about comparing jtopen library and commercial middleware. My target AS/400 is model 820 and OS version is V5R1.
