jtextarea in scollpane

hi gurus, please help,

i have three panels next to each other. first panel has jtable on the left, second DATA panel in center and third BUTTONS panel on the right.

the middle panel displaying many jlabels include jtextarea, which can be 1 to 150 characters long. this panel is in jscrollpane

The problems are

1. how can readjust the text in textarea to display in two or three or one line as per window size expansion or reduction. means no fix column of jtextarea but variate according to size of window.

2. sometimes it displays the jscroll pane bar slightly adjust towards right means hiding some data to the left. how can i make the bar left adjusted
