JSSE - How to configure Diffie-Hellmann (DH) parameters for ssl-handhake

843811Jan 26 2010 — edited Apr 6 2010
Hello,

is it possible to configure the Diffie-Hellmann parameters used during key agreement of the ssl-handshake using Sun JDK?
Specifically, I need to make sure that DH-Group 5 is used (an elliptic curve group with a 1536 bit prime - see http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2412#page-50), since our customer has deemed the "lower" groups to be not safe enough for the intended application.

If this is not possible with the Sun ssl-implementation, does anyone know of an implementation that is capable of configuring this? Or one which could be upgraded to meet this requirement?
Which other options do I have short of implementing my very own ssl-stack?

Thank you all in advance for your answers.
